According to Centers
for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) , “Unintentional injuries are
the seventh leading cause of deaths among adults aged greater than or
equal to 65 years in the United States.”
Getting dependent on someone is never the first choice
of elderly people. Like us, they prefer to live freely and self-sufficiently on
their own in their own homes. However, the natural process of aging makes them
mandate them to move into an assisted living setting for health and safety
reasons.
